The 23rd Education Korea 2026 Opens at Record Scale at COEX, Seoul

January 21, 2026 – "The 23rd Education Korea 2026" grandly opened for a three-day run from Wednesday, January 21 to Friday, January 23 at COEX (Halls A & B) in Samseong-dong, Seoul. Held under the theme "Learning about Learning, Tomorrow Starts Today," this fair is held at a record scale with 592 companies and institutions from 22 countries.
Education Korea has established itself as Asia's largest education and edutech exhibition, serving as a leading global platform where future education paradigms and the latest technology trends can be checked in one place. The fair is composed of a comprehensive event covering the entire education industry, including educational content, edutech, educational facilities and environments, vocational and lifelong education, and study-abroad information.
This year's fair addressed education innovation responding to the AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) era beyond the AI era as a major topic. Participating companies showcased cutting-edge technologies immediately applicable in the field, such as AI-based educational courseware, STEAM robots, and digital classroom solutions, while global big tech and leading domestic edutech companies presented future education tools and learning design directions.

At the "9th International Education Conference (EDUCON 2026)" held during the fair, education leaders from around the world gathered to discuss structural changes and strategies in education under the theme "AI Agents Make New Rules." Education experts and policymakers debated the essential transformation of the education ecosystem, including the roles generative AI and AI agents will play in future classrooms and the redefinition of educators' roles.
