The Korea MICE Association, a leading body representing the exhibition and convention industry, announced that EXPORUM CEO Hyundae Shin was elected as its new chairman in the recently held 11th chairman election.

The election was conducted via online voting, and CEO Shin was elected with the support of more than a majority of member companies. The new chairman's term runs for three years, from March 1, 2026 to the end of February 2029.

Chairman Shin is a MICE expert who has been active in the exhibition and convention industry for many years, contributing to strengthening industry competitiveness and expanding global networks through the planning and operation of major domestic and international exhibitions. As chairman, he plans to focus on member-centered association management, restoring the industry ecosystem, and strengthening technology-based MICE competitiveness.

The Korea MICE Association plans to use this election as an opportunity to strengthen the cooperative framework across the industry and to expand its role in driving sustainable MICE industry growth.
